Cable type and length are always printed on the outer cable. The length is in feet (305 mm) and measured from the attachment point in the steering helm unit to the end of the output arm with the arm half extended.

Example A (Fig. 1) Length = A+B+C minus 10 cm for each 90º bend + 30.5 cm for mounting on the engine. Example: A = 50 + B = 250 + C = 80 minus 20 cm for 2 pcs. 90º bends = 360 + 30.5 cm = 390.5 cm 390.5 cm : 30.5 = 12.8 ft. So a 13 ft cable should be selected

Example B (Fig. 2+3) Length = A+B+C minus 10 cm for each 90º bend. Example: A = 50 + B = 250 + C = 80 minus 20 cm for 2 pcs. 90º bends = 360 cm 360 cm: 30.5 = 11.8 ft. So a 12 ft cable should be selected
