Originally developed for the U.S. military. PSP Silicone Tape provides a reliable solution for leaks in water or exhaust pipes, as well as a wide range of other sealing applications in emergency situations onboard. Effective in temperatures from -50˚ C to + 260˚ C. The silicone tape also insulates 8000V per stretched layer. Tensile strength has been tested at over 700PSI and will effectively seal leaks up to 85PSI (6 bar).

PSP Silicone Tape has good resistance to weak acids, fuels, oils, solvents, saltwater, ozone, UV light, and flames. All of this gives the tape a wide range of applications where, in an emergency, damage can be reduced quickly and effectively and you can get safely back to port.
